A Report On Interpreting Practice On Mukden Manchu Embroidery Cultural Appreciation Performance

The interpreting practice report is based on a real interpreting practice experience of the author in the Mukden Manchu Embroidery Cultural Appreciation Performance.Since this activity aims to introduce Manchu embroidery culture and other related traditional Chinese culture to foreign friends,the interpreting must have certain acceptability.So the author attempts to analyze the interpreting practice based on the coherence rule of Skopos theory.Through the analysis of the interpreting practice based on the coherence rule of Skopos theory,the author summarizes the problems encountered by himself,including information omission,large amount of information and the delivery of cultural elements,and studies the corresponding interpreting strategies,including omission,addition and literal translation,providing reference for future practice.This report is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of the interpreting practice;the second chapter introduces the preparation and process of interpreting practice;the third chapter mainly combines the coherence rule of Skopos theory with the interpreting practice,analyzes related examples and studies the corresponding interpreting strategies,which is the main body of the thesis;the fourth chapter is a summary and reflection on this interpreting practice.
