Translation Practice Report Of Volkswagen Group's Internal Training Material VWATJ Apprentice Handbook

The text material of this translation practice report is originally from the Dual Vocational Education Apprentice Handbook Program which was organized by HR,Organization&Education Department in Volkswagen Automatic Transmission(Tianjin)Co.,Ltd.,Volkswagen Group and implemented by the interns of the department.Dual Vocational Education is a kind of occupational training mode that contains two parts and origins in the German vocational schools.One part refers to the professional knowledge in the school while the other part refers to the training in the enterprises or public institutions.The author made full preparations for the pre-interpretation in the process of translation,including reading professional books,searching for parallel texts,organizing and producing the glossary.The author aims to strengthen the knowledge in the field of human resources,legal and compliance(it refers to those laws,regulations and internal standards which commercial banks and enterprises should obey),and the automobile manufacturing industry,to make the translation conform to the target reader's habits,recognized and loved by them.In the process of translation,the author adopts the Skopos Theory as the main theory,combining with the specific cases of a certain number of vocabularies,sentences and paragraphs in three aspects to discuss difficulties in the translating process,and exploring how to use appropriate translation strategies to resolve the difficult points encountered in the translation.The author hopes to give ideas to the other human resources translation projects in the future as reference for other people in the human resources field.This report consists of four chapters:the first chapter is the introduction that briefly introduces the project background and specific requirements;the second chapter introduces the process of' the project,the preparation before translation,the translation process and difficulties;the third chapter is the case analysis;the fourth chapter summarizes the translation experience and enlightenment,also reflects the shortcomings in the t.ranslation practice,in order to do better for the future translation.
