The development of adolescent physical and mental health is the focus of people's attention.As a deep personality trait,core self-evaluation represents a person's recognition of his/her own ability and value.At the same time,self-evaluation will directly affect an individual's life satisfaction.However,a person's uncertainty about his/her self-ability is more likely to make self-assessment through social comparison.Meanwhile,high social comparison will bring more pressure to individuals,which will also lead to a decrease in life satisfaction.Life satisfaction is one of the important criteria to measure individual mental health.Therefore,it is of great significance for teenagers' mental health to explore the core self-evaluation,life satisfaction and social comparison tendency level of senior high school students who are teenagers,as well as the influence mechanism among the three.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 605 senior high school students,and SPSS19.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.The results show that :(1)the core self-evaluation of senior high school students is above the average level,and the core self-evaluation of male students is higher than that of female students,and the core self-evaluation of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students.(2)the life satisfaction of senior high school students is at the middle and upper level,and the life satisfaction of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students.(3)on the whole,senior high school students prefer to make social comparison,and the social comparison tendency and ability of rural students are significantly higher than that of urban students.(4)there is a significant positive correlation between core self-evaluation and life satisfaction of senior high school students.(5)there is a significant negative correlation between core self-evaluation and social comparison tendency of senior high school students.(6)there is a significant negative correlation between life satisfaction and social comparisontendency of senior high school students.(7)core self-evaluation and social comparison tendency of senior high school students can significantly predict life satisfaction.(8)the social comparison tendency of senior high school students plays an intermediary role in the influence of core self-evaluation on life satisfaction.
