Report Of Variation Translation Of Internet-related News From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

The translation materials of this translation report are the weekly reports the author wrote during her internship at China Academy of Information and Communications Technology(CAICT).With the rapid development of information and technology,greater challenge is posed to the governance of the Internet.As the think tank of the government,CAICT shoulders the responsibility of ensuring the security and stability of the Internet.Many countries around the world have taken measures to regulate the Internet.China can take those measures as reference.In the era of information and technology,translators are required to translate the materials according to the target reader's requirements.Thus,appropriate translation strategies should be adopted in the translation.This report summarizes the translation strategies the author used in the translation of English Internet-related news into Chinese weekly report.Five chapters are included in the translation report.The first chapter introduces the translation project.It includes research background,research structure and significance.The second chapter gives an overview of the author's internship at CAICT.The third chapter is a description of the skopos theory,features of Internet-related news and variation translation of Internet-related news and its skopos.The fourth chapter is case study,analyzing the translation strategies adopted by the author in her translation.The fifth chapter is a conclusion summarizing the whole translation proj ect.Through writing this translation report,the author has a deeper understanding of the variation translation of English Internet-related news.She hopes that the coming news translators can take the translation report as reference.
