A Report On Translation Of Logistics Contract

Nowadays,Logistics is far from new.The professional and intelligent logistics services support the development of the economy and the global commercial exchanges.Logistics services,as key factor to enhance competitiveness and increase the economic efficiency of enterprises,act as a bridge which connects the companies with their customers.This translation report,based on the logistics services agreement was sponsored and signed by Sharp Jusda Logistics Corporation("SJL")and HORO Co.,Ltd.("HORO")on 1st May,2018.Combining the features of logistics English with features of English contracts translation,this thesis analyzes the common translation problems encountered in the SJL-HORO Services Agreement and sums up its translation principles and methods.Firstly,this report introduces the translation project and the original text in details.Secondly,this thesis focuses on explaining the translation process,including the preparation before translation,such as reading parallel texts and some relative translation requirements and theories;analysis of the translation skills of logistics and legal terminologies and complex sentences;and quality control of the translation project.Lastly,this report summarizes this translation practice experience and personal understanding of translation.This translation practice provides me with perceptual and systematic knowledge on translation of legal logistics contracts.In some sense,it attributes to my future translation works.
