A Study On The Uyghur Translation Of Attributives In Landscape Over The Side

Multiple attributives are one of the special phenomena in the study of Attributives in modern Chinese.Since the 1950 s,scholars began to study and discuss multiple attributives.There are three different names for the structure of "multiple modifiers appear before the same central word".This difference in names reflects the different understanding of this unique structure among scholars.Multiple attributives are one of the most important and difficult points in translation.How to translate this complex structure accurately and reasonably and let the readers fully understand the expression of the original is the key consideration of the translator.Chinese and Uyghur belong to different language families,so there are great differences in the expressions of multiple attributives between the two languages.How to express multiple attributives in Chinese and Uyghur languages,what rules they present and what factors they are subject to,and what translation methods are adopted by translators to coordinate the differences between Chinese and Uyghur languages,so that readers can understand the original more accurately are the standpoint of this study.On the basis of combing and synthesizing the previous research results,this paper explores the types of attributives,the rules of Uyghur translation and their motivations in the corpus of <<Landscape over the Side>>.The author divides the whole paper into five parts to discuss the attributives.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research and development of Multiple attributives,and summarizes the research characteristics and important achievements of each part.The latter four parts,starting from the multiple attributives of the four relations in the corpus of<< Landscape on this side>>,analyze the concrete examples of Chinese and Uyghur language and draw the corresponding rules of Uyghur translation.They try to observe or understand the logical relationship between objective things,the principle of "information core at the end of sentences",the conventionally established language expression habit,and the Uyghursentence-building of "subject-object-predicate".Principles,reasonable collocation of words,following the hierarchy of languages are various theories to explain the motivation.Sum up appropriate translation methods,such as free translation,literal translation,translation techniques of addition,subtraction and combination.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research situation of the whole paper.
