Translation Strategies Of Political Text:In The Light Of Skopostheorie

From the perspective of Skopostheorie,this thesis probes into the translation strategies of Chinese political text.The governance of China II was published in October 2017.This book introduces China's domestic and foreign policies in a language with Chinese characteristics.It is an encyclopedia of contemporary Chinese politics,economy and culture.So it can be taken as an example to study Chinese political text translation.Based on The governance of China ?,the study analyzes the translation strategies of expressions with Chinese characteristics from two dimensions,namely words and discourses.Combining theory and practice,the author mainly analyzes the embodiment of the three principles of Skopostheorie in the translation,and summarized the translation strategies and methods under the guidance of Skopostheorie.It aims to answer the following two questions:first,the embodiment of the three principles of Skopostheorie in the text;second,the translation strategies of political literatureUnder the guidance of Skopostheorie,the study analyzes the translation of expressions with Chinese characteristics,and thus proves that Skopostheorie could guide translation practice.The translation strategies and methods mentioned in the thesis may also inspire the translation of political text.
