In recent years,due to the growing concern of the state over vocational education,the research in the field of vocational education has become a hot area.Vocational high school students are at a crucial stage of their personal development.Although they used to be a group of losers in the entrance examinations,they still had a chance to go to university and seek a good development if they could study well in secondary vocational colleges.Therefore,this study discusses three aspects:core self-evaluation,perceived social support,and learning engagement.It aims to study the influence of environmental variables on learning engagement and the mediating role of individual variables between the two.In this study,557 secondary vocational school students at Tianchang Industrial School of Tianchang City,Anhui Province were investigated by CSES,PSSS and UWES-S to investigate the core self-evaluation,Comprehend social support,learn to invest in the relationship between the three.Using SPSS 23.0 and Amos24.0 software for data processing and analysis,the results are as follows:1.The level of core self-evaluation and perceived social support of secondary vocational students is at a middle-to-upper level,but it is still relatively low compared with that of students from the general school;the learning expenditure of secondary vocational students is below the middle level and lower than that of students from general schools.2.There is a significant difference in core self-evaluation of secondary vocational students in terms of gender,professionalism,and whether they serve as class leaders.3.There is a significant difference in Perceived Social Support of secondary vocational students in terms of gender,professionalism,and whether they serve as class leaders.There are no significant differences between grades and whether there are only children.4.There is a significant difference in learning engagement of secondary vocational students in terms of students' grades,majors,and whether they serve as class leaders.5.Secondary vocational school core self-evaluation,Perceived Social Support,learning engagement was a significant positive correlation between every two.6.The degree of core self-evaluation of secondary vocational school students has a significant predictive effect on their learning engagement;secondary vocational school students' Perceived Social Support has a significant predictive effect on their learning engagement.7.The core self-evaluation of secondary vocational students play a part of the intermediary role in Perceived Social Support and learning engagement.The intermediary effect accounts for 52.8%of the total effect.
