As a special group,middle school students have not yet formed a stable outlook on life and values,so their ideas are easily influenced by the surrounding environment,which in turn affects their prosocial behavior.Middle school students spend most of their time at school.The school is their main venue for activities.Their moral and prosocial behaviors are deeply affected by the natural environment,cultural environment of school and the moral atmosphere in which it exists.Little research has been done on the impact of school morality on prosocial behavior.This paper mainly discusses the influence of school moral atmosphere and moral identity on the prosocial behavior of junior school students,and aims to provide some guiding suggestions for the development of prosocial behavior of middle school students.In this study,1148 junior high school students were selected as subjects,using the Prosocial Tendencies Measure–PTM which revised by Kou Yu,Hong Huifang,Tan Chen,Li Lei in 2007.Moral Identity Measure-MIM which revised by Wan Zengkui,Yang Shaogang in 2008 and Hu Huiying's School Moral Atmosphere Scale to explore the school morality of junior school students in 2010.Investigate the relationship between school morality and prosocial behavior of junior school students,and the mediating effect of moral identity.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The prosocial behavior of junior school students is at a medium level.There are no significant differences in prosocial behavior between gender and place of birth;there are significant differences in grades.The prosocial behavior of first-year students is significantly lower than that of second-year and third-year students,and the difference in prosocial behavior between second-year and third-year students is not obvious.(2)There are significant differences in the dimensions and total scores of prosocial behavior,moral identity,and school morality.School morality,moral identity and prosocial behavior are positively related.That is to say,in a good school moral atmosphere,junior high school students have higher moral identity and more prosocial behavior;the higher the moral identity of junior high school students,the more prosocial behavior they perform.(3)Moral identity has a mediating effect on the relationship between school morality and prosocial behavior.School morality affects prosocial behavior by affecting the moral identity of junior school students.
