As a positive social behavior--Prosocial behavior has always been a noble act advocated by social civilization.Empathy is regarded as the third motive source of prosocial behavior, and people with higher empathy levels have more prosocial behaviors than those with low empathy levels. From the perspective of social cognition,Moral identity is an ordered cognitive representation or schema about moral values, goals, characteristics, and behavioral scripts.Moral identity is the key psychological mechanism of transforming moral cognition into moral behavior. Many studies have clearly demonstrated the relationship between moral identity and behavior.Capara(1999)found that regulatory emotion self-efficacy can directly affect the behavior, but also can affect other psychological variables(cognition and emotion)to indirectly influence behavior, plays an important role in regulating the behavior of the individual.Based on the historical research literature, this paper starts with the social cognitive theory and other related theories, takes the employees of Hangzhou enterprises as the research object, and obtains 213 questionnaires through the questionnaire survey method.Through data analysis such as factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, mediating effect, regulating effect and so on,to verify the effects of empathy on prosocial behavior and moral identity;to study the moral identity's mediating effect in the process of the influence of empathy on prosocial behavior;to study the regulatory emotion self-efficacy's moderating effect in the process of the influence of empathy on moral identity. The main conclusions are as follows:1.Empathy has a significant effect on prosocial behavior, which can predict prosocial behavior.2.Empathy has a significant effect on the moral identity.3.In the process of the influence of empathy on prosocial behavior, the moral identity has a complete mediating effect.4.In the process of the influence of empathy on the moral identity, there is a moderating effect of regulatory emotion self-efficacy.
