The induction adaptation period is a key period that affects the professional quality of teachers.By investigating the current situation of vocational adaptation of new primary school English teachers,this study reveals the difficulties encountered by new primary school English teachers in the process of vocational adaptation,and further puts forward Suggestions and countermeasures on the basis of cause analysis.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the career adaptation of new English teachers in primary schools from the perspective of English discipline.The thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the research background,research purpose and significance,research status,research methods,etc.Chapter two is the theoretical basis and research design of the career adaptation of new English teachers in primary schools.As an important link in the whole career development stage of teachers,new teachers should be studied in the macro background of the whole career development stage rather than independent of a certain stage.By analyzing the theory of teacher professional development stage,the stage and characteristics of new teachers in the theory of teacher professional development,and the division of the research dimension of new teacher vocational adaptation,this paper provides a theoretical basis for the division of the research dimension of new teacher vocational adaptation in primary school English.This study carried out an actual survey on 78 new English teachers in primary schools whose entry period was less than three years.It was carried out from four aspects: teaching work adaptation,interpersonal relationship adaptation,professional role adaptation and professional psychological adaptation.In order to find out the problems of new English teachers in primary school in the process of career adaptation.The third chapter presents the problems of new primary school English teachers in teaching work,interpersonalrelationship,professional role and professional psychology by means of bar chart.The teaching work is divided into four aspects: teaching design,teaching implementation,teaching reflection and evaluation,education and scientific research.The dimension of interpersonal relationship can be divided into four aspects: new teachers and students,new teachers and parents,new teachers and colleagues,new teachers and school leaders.Chapter four mainly analyzes the reasons for the problems in the process of career adaptation of new English teachers in primary schools.This study presents the causes of adaptation problems from the internal and external aspects.Based on the above analysis,the fifth chapter puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions for the career adaptation of new primary school English teachers,mainly including Suggestions for new teachers,teachers' colleges and schools.
