Thanks to the economic boom of China,together with the B&R(Belt and Road)propose implemented by Chinese government,the communications between Ukraine and China in economic,culture,and other fields are increasingly frequent.A tide of learning Chinese swept the schools in Ukraine.Especially in 201 0,the establishment of the Confucius instit ute in Kiev marked a new era,showing that Chinese language teaching occupies a more and more important position in Ukrainian higher education.In the process of learning Chinese,characters,phonetic,phrase,sentence,are all emphasis.Specific to the situations of students in Dnepr,Ukraine,phonetic is the very key point and also the difficulty for students to make a progress.Phonetic is the basis of listening and reading,only those who laid a solid foundation on phonetic can pave the way for furthering Chinese language learning.In this paper,I devoted to investigate the difficulties of learning Chinese phonetics encountered by students from Dnepr,Ukraine,and proposed practical solutions.From the perspective of teaching,practice and theory should be combined together.As the exemplary person,teachers should not only be ground in theoretical basis,but also flexible in methods such as inductive deductive method,inspired comparison and the rap practice etc.,Examples should follow to illustrate the application of these methods in the teaching.Comprehensive materials should be provided for students to get a whole picture in Chinese phonetics.
