Design industry is an important part of the cultural and creative industries.Graphic Design Major in secondary vocational education is facing various challenges,such as social development demand,students' employment needs and subject development requirements.Based on the connotation of the Graphic Design Major's teaching reform in secondary vocational education,this thesis is to provide certain theoretical and practical support to promote the education of Graphic Design by thinking from the angle of subject teaching.Choosing Fujian J school as a representative,this thesis investigates and analyzes the status of teaching Graphic Design courses in secondary vocational schools,finds out the main problems existing in the teaching process of Graphic Design courses and these problems are analyzed in detail.Finally,a whole set of Graphic Design Major's teaching reform strategy in secondary vocational schools is put forward from four aspects,which are basic principles of educational reform,the teaching model reform,teachers'innovation teaching ability and the students',comprehensive quality.
