In the Ming Dynasty,the pedestrian division was set up from Hongwu.The pedestrian division was the emperor's supervisory body.It was sent by the emperor.In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,the pedestrian division gradually developed and perfected.In the course of development,a special central institution was formed.The development of the pedestrian division was against the Ming Dynasty politics.Economic,diplomatic,and ceremonial systems have played an important role.The study of the Pedestrian Division in the early Ming Dynasty had far-reaching implications for the development of the field of diplomatic history in the Ming Dynasty and the exploration of institutional management in the Ming Dynasty.This paper analyzes the main functions of the Pedestrian Division in the early Ming Dynasty,the evolution and development,and the main functions of the Pedestrian Division,and then analyzes the relationship between the pedestrians' ruling in the Hongwu,Jianwen and Yongle periods and the will of the rulers and the political situation at that time.The Pedestrian Division has made many functions at home and abroad,and it is the official who supervised the emperor's supervision.The side reflects the high concentration of the imperial power;the position of the pedestrian division,the pedestrians are widely dispatched to the fixed positions,which reflects that the pedestrians are increasingly influenced by the emperor.Emphasis on the selection of pedestrians,from the evolution of Xiaolian and Maocai to the selection of imperial examinations,reflects the change of pedestrian status;the establishment of the pedestrian division played an important role in strengthening the special rule of the early Ming Dynasty,limiting the rights of eunuchs and strengthening the frontiers.Contact and promote the economic development of the tributary countries have made great contributions.However,the setting of the Pedestrian Division itself has limitations.The Pedestrian Division is a special product under special circumstances and is a manifestation of the high concentration of the ruler's imperial power.It restricted the ability and innovation ability of officials at that time.The setting of the pedestrian department caused overlapping of institutions and waste of talents,which hindered thedevelopment of the pedestrian division.
