Animal idioms have always been regarded as the cream of Chinese culture and a part of Chinese learning.Although it has a short form,it is rich in connotation and changeable in structure,so it has always been the focus and difficulty of foreign students' Chinese learning.And because of the foreign students' own reasons and improper teaching methods,there will inevitably be a series of errors in the process of learning animal idioms.The author is very interested in the types and forms of these errors,and hopes to find out the solutions to these errors through research.As an overseas student of Russian-speaking countries,the author combines his own learning situation and takes the students whose mother tongue is Russian as a research model.By investigating the learning situation of Chinese animal idioms of students with different Chinese proficiency levels,the author analyses the types and causes of students' errors in learning animal idioms,and on this basis,puts forward improving methods for the learning of Chinese animal idioms.The results show that: 1.Almost all the students think that Chinese animal idioms are very important,and they are very interested in them.However,most Chinese learners have a single method of learning idioms,which is mainly mastered by the way of teacher's explanation in class.However,quite a number of students are not satisfied with the teaching methods of teachers.Second,students' errors in learning Chinese animal idioms mainly appear in writing,semantics,pragmatics,grammar and so on.Third,the main reasons for students' errors are: the negative transfer of mother tongue,the lack of knowledge of ancient Chinese,the inadequate explanation of animal idioms by teachers,and the inadequate attention paid to their attitudes towards idioms.In view of these situations,the author will put forward a series of suggestions on the teaching methods of Chinese teachers.The author believes that teachers should make a comparative analysis of Russian and Chinese animal idioms in the process of teaching in order to deepen students' understanding;secondly,we should trace the origin of Chinese idioms so that students not only know the idiom,but also can understand and use it well;finally,teachers should be good at creating context and letting students understand it.True knowledge in practice.
