In recent times,more and more people around the globe have joined the ranks of people learning Chinese language.The dictionary is a powerful auxiliary tool for learning and teaching and so the research and analysis of published dictionaries should be useful for the compilation of future dictionaries.This article will interpret and analyze the"Chinese Teaching and Learning Dictionary",the analysis does not include all of the content of the dictionary,but the grammatical information of the verbs in the"tips",focusing on identifying deficiencies and making recommendations on their problems.The first part introduces the research significance,research content,research ideas and research methods of this thesis.It also summarizes the research status of the foreign language dictionary from the aspects of interpretation,illustration,compilation,use,pragmatic information and grammar information.The second part makes statistics and investigations on the verbs with the object in the Chinese Teaching and Learning Dictionary,and also relates to the location of the object in special circumstances.The third part examines the Chinese Teaching And Learning Dictionary's separable words,auxilliary verbs,verbs as sentence components,verbs as idioms,verbs by degree adverbs,verb overlap,verbs and sentence patterns,verbs affirmative and negative,application of verbs in sentences and so on.The fourth part focuses on the achievements as well as the failures of the Chinese Dictionary of Teaching and Learning,which mainly points out the problems in lexical information such as separable words,sentences with double verbs,verbs overlaps,verbs modifiable by adverbs of degree,verbs and adverbs.The fifth part proposes the revision of the Chinese Teaching and Learning Dictionary.Pointing out the necessity to master the sequence of word use,to grasp the scope of the verbs.You can refer to the verb method information description on the appendix.
