Time perspective is one of the important contents of time psychology and time personality.It is a personality trait of the individual's perception,experience and action(action tendency)in the past,present and future time.Scholars at home and abroad agree that a well-balanced time perspective is an important condition for pursuing career success and happiness.Therefore,the study of childhood is conducive to the cultivation and research development of time perspective.Child self-control,father involvement as the internal and external factor in child development,their mechanism of influence on time perception and how to measure children's time perspective are the focus of this study.The study is divided into two parts.The study revised the Adolescent Time Perspective Questionnaire and compiled the Children's Time Perspective Questionnaire based on relevant theories and related research literature.The students in the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of Hebei Primary School were studied.For the subjects,570 children were selected for the initial test,and 812 children were selected for retesting.Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis methods were used to form a measurement questionnaire with good reliability and validity.Study 2 used the Children's time perspective Questionnaire,the Father's Participation Scale,and the Child Self-Control Self-Campus Scale to screen 375 primary school students and their 452 students in Grade 4,5,and 6 of a primary school in Hebei Province.The study used correlation analysis,analysis of variance,and structural equation modeling to analyze the characteristics of father involvement,self-control and time perspective in the upper primary school and the relationship between the three variables.Research result:(1)The Children's time perspective Questionnaire has a total of 21 projects with five dimensions,including: past negative,past positive,present hedonistic,future imagination and future plans.With good reliability and validity,it can be used as a measurement tool to study children's time perspective.(2)The fathers of senior students in primary school have significant differences in their father's education.Among them,fathers with graduate or above and college or undergraduatedegree scores significantly higher than the fathers with high school or below.(3)The self-control of the primary school seniors is significantly different in gender and grade.In terms of gender,girls' self-control scores are significantly higher than boys' s;grades,fourth grades in self-control scores and behavioral habits,social relationships and learning The behavioral dimension is significantly higher than the sixth grade;the fourth grade is significantly higher than the fifth and sixth grades in the self-control quality dimension.(4)There is a significant difference in gender and degree of the primary school seniors.In terms of gender,the present hedonistic of boys is significantly higher than that of girls,and the future plan is significantly lower than that of girls.In terms of grades,the present hedonistic of the sixth grade is significantly higher than that of the sixth grade.Fourth and fifth grade;the difference in future plans is not significant.(5)The father involvement,self-control and time perspective of senior students in primary school are related to each other.Among them,father involvement and various dimensions are significantly related to self-control and each dimension;father's involvement in responsibility dimension is significantly negatively correlated with past negative,father's involvement in total score and other dimensions(interactivity,accessibility)and past positive and future imagination It is significantly positively correlated with future plans and negatively correlated with present hedonistic;self-control and other dimensions(social relationship,learning behavior and self-control quality)are significantly negatively correlated with past negatives,and the social relationship dimension and future imagination are significantly positive.Relevance,self-control and dimensions are significantly negatively correlated with past positives and positively correlated with future plans.(6)Self-control plays an mediator role between father's involvement and time perspective,in which self-control plays a coverive role between father's involvement and past negatives;plays a partial mediator role between father's involvement and past positive,present hedonistic and future plans.
