Chinese belongs to the Sino Tibetan language family, and the use of quantifiers is a major grammatical feature of the Chinese language.Quantifiers are also one of the key and difficult points in the Chinese as a foreign language.Mongolian belongs to the Altaic Languages, which has few quantifiers and differs from Chinese in both usage and semantics. There are27 quantifiers studied in this paper, which are required to master from Level 1to Level 4 in the General Syllabus of international Chinese teaching. This paper summarizes the arrangement of these classifiers in the primary synthesis of the textbook "developing Chinese" It describes the classroom performance of the Mongolia students at the primary stage, their learning methods of Quantifiers, and the teaching methods used by teachers in the teaching of Chinese quantifiers.By analyzing the answers to the test paper and other data collected, this paper describes the basic situation and characteristics of Chinese quantifiers acquisition and use by Mongolia students at the primary stage.By using the methods of contrastive analysis and error analysis, this paper sums up the types and causes of errors in the use of Chinese quantifiers by the foreign students in Mongolia at the primary stage, and puts forward some teaching suggestions. In the teaching of Chinese classifiers as a foreign language, first of all,it is necessary to help learners reduce the negative transfer of their mother tongue and the generalization of the rules of the target language;secondly,it is necessary to enliven the classroom atmosphere, diversify teaching methods, enhance learners' pragmatic competence and increase their quantifier output Third, teachers should use the established teaching materials flexibly. The conclusion summarizes the paperand points out the shortcomings of the paper.Firstly, the small number of foreign students in Mongolia at the primary stage of the study results in the small number of returned test papers, and the conclusion may be accidental The teaching suggestion is immature, not deep enough and not targeted enough. In the future,we will look for more opportunities to study the acquisition and use of Chinese quantifiers by Mongolia students at the primary stage.
