In recent decades,because the number of foreigners studying Chinese in China is constantly rising,the short-term intensive Chinese teaching is booming.However,the number of existing Chinese textbooks is few and the quality is poor.In order to better improve the learners' spoken communicative skills,we need to compile a suitable intensive Chinese textbook for learners.So it is indispensable to compare and analyze the existing textbooks.Based on the short-term intensive Chinese teaching syllabus and the principles of textbook compilation,and through data statistics and systematic comparative analysis of intensive Chinese textbooks,this text compares and analyzes the two textbooks,"Short-Term Spoken Chinese"(1)and " Conversational Chinese 301"(2),revealing their commonality and individuality,summarizing the merits and shortcomings.Simultaneously,according to the problems existing in the two intensive elementary Chinese spoken textbooks,the improvement suggestions are given to promote the publication of more perfect textbooks and providing better ideas for the publication and improvement of the intensive elementary Chinese spoken textbooks in the future.The full text consists of four chapters.The first chapter includes the causes for selecting the thesis topic,research intent and meaning,the research summary,the main content and innovation of the research,and the principles for the textbooks compilation,which is the introduction part.The second chapter includes the textbook style and comparative research value of these two textbooks,which is the simple summary of the comparison objects of this text.The third chapter comprehensively analyzes the merits and shortcomings of the two textbooks in various aspects,which is the key chapter of the full text;the fourth chapter is to sum up the merits and shortcomings,and then provide some reference suggestions for the shortcomings,in order to improve the textbooks compilation,and also look forward to providing some help for the better development of intensive elementary Chinese spoken teaching in the future.
