The teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has been carried out for decades,but the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has not developed synchronously.It has been developed as a short board in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chinese characters are written symbols used to record Chinese language,and play an important carrier role in the dissemination of Chinese culture.If you want to learn Chinese well,you must learn to use Chinese characters.The development of teaching Chinese characters to foreigners is inseparable from the study of teaching materials.Textbooks are the bridge and link between educators and learners,and the medium and basis of teaching.Strengthening the research on teaching materials of Chinese characters for foreigners is helpful to continuously open up the teaching methods of Chinese characters for foreigners and to sum up experience and lessons so as to better develop teaching resources of Chinese characters for foreigners.This paper compares two foreign Chinese character textbooks at the primary stage,finds out the advantages of compiling foreign Chinese character textbooks,summarizes the existing problems,and puts forward corresponding opinions and suggestions on this basis.The first part of this paper is an introduction.Firstly,the significance of this study is elaborated.The author believes that the study of foreign Chinese characters in the primary stage can provide experience for the academic circles to compile an excellent and scientific teaching material of foreign Chinese characters.Secondly,it summarizes the research situation at home and abroad,and finds that although some foreign Chinese characters textbooks on the market have been compared,analyzed and studied by predecessors,there is no discussion on the evaluation of textbooks.Finally,it summarizes the three research methods adopted in this paper,which are literature,comparative analysis and statistical method.The second chapter is the comparison of two sets of textbooks.As the main part of this paper,it compares the two textbooks in terms of the choice and arrangement of characters,the selection and arrangement of knowledge points,and the setting of exercises,so as to compare the similarities and differences between the two textbooks.It is found that the arrangement of teaching content of "Chinese Character Quick Textbook" is richer and more diverse than that of "Chinese Character Breakthrough".Compared with the selection of characters,the arrangement of knowledge points and the setting of exercises,the former shows obvious advantages.The third chapter is the summary and suggestions.By comparing and analyzing the teaching contents of the two textbooks,the author finds that the compilers of both textbooks attach great importance to the teaching of basic knowledge points,and regard the table of Chinese characters in the Outline of Chinese Language Level and Chinese Character Grade as the criterion for selecting new words.However,the disadvantage of the two textbooks is that the order of compilation does not conform to the learner's cognitive law and shows certain disorder.At the same time,the compilation of tex It has not absorbed excellent theoretical achievements,and lacks certain limitations.In practice setting,it is limited to the traditional paperbased plane textbooks,which makes the exercise form a little dull and can not repeatedly mobilize the enthusiasm of learners.After summarizing the advantages and disadvantages,this paper puts forward some expectations for the compilation of teaching materials for Chinese characters as a foreign language: 1.It is hoped that the academic circles can unify the standards for compiling teaching materials for Chinese characters as a foreign language;2.It is necessary to innovate and develop diversified forms of teaching materials;3.The compilation of teaching materials should absorb excellent theoretical achievements of scientific research.4.We should enrich the basis of classification and strengthen the pertinence of teaching materials;5.We should attach importance to errors in learning Chinese characters and compile corresponding exercises accordingly;6.We should pay more attention to the repetition rate of new words,and the compilation of teaching materials should be closely combined with the repetition rate of new words.
