Since the 1990 s,China's documentary has entered a period of rapid development with the rise of television.Many excellent documentaries are not only unique in terms of content,but also innovating in the way of narrative.CCTV's "A Bite of China" is constantly absorbing and quoting numerous texts in the process of creation because of the authority of its communication subject and the wide range of communication objects,forming a mutual integration of sound,text,image and picture narrative art.Its intertextual Narration is worthy of our in-depth research.This article mainly uses Girard Genette's intertextuality theory,Kristeva's intertextuality theory and film narrative theory.On the basis of carefully watching the three seasons of the documentary "A Bite of China",the author specifically analyzes the documentary "A Bite of China" from four aspects: the intertextuality of the theme,the intertextuality of culture,the intertextuality of the story,and the intertextuality.What is the content and how to present it through intertextuality.Firstly,the article briefly summarizes and introduces the narrative and intertextuality theory.The essence of intertextuality belongs to narratology,which refers to the relationship between different texts,mutual learning and mutual influence.Any work can be The intertextual narrative evokes the shadow of other works,which provides a certain theoretical basis for the thesis.Secondly,the paper introduces the specific intertextual narrative feature of "A Bite of China".In the construction of creativity and theme,"A Bite of China" draws on the text of "The Slow Food Nation" by Petrini."The Bite of China" is a long process of excavating the theme creativity.It draws on the theme framework.The definition of Western cuisine in the Slow Food Nation.Intertextual interpretation highlights the theme of documentary creation.In terms of cultural construction,"A Bite of China" has cited a large number of geography,history,culture,folklore,proverbs,etc.Through the use of food,and theintertextual business has increased the cultural connotation of the documentary to a certain extent.In the story construction,the content of the story of The Bite of China and the historical stories related to it form a deep intertextuality,drawing on the British BBC documentary "Human Planet" in the story characters and storyline.This can be said to be a tribute to the BBC documentary.Through the intertextual construction of the story,the audience's emotions are rendered,and the temperature of the documentary is increased to a certain extent.Finally,these intertextual content are achieved through complementary and citational intertextual methods as well as intertextual methods such as imitation and collage.Of course,there are some shortcomings in the "A Bite of China" program.The article was put forward at the end and gave suggestions for improvement.The revelation given to us is that the documentary should be rational and intertextual,and enhance the innovation of the documentary.At the same time,the documentary should be properly intertextualized to avoid plagiarism.The final program should be accurately positioned,adhere to the development of the story,and properly use intertextual methods and techniques.In this way,the documentary can be innovative and developed in the narrative,enhance the cultural connotation in the subtle,and render the audience's emotions to maximize the effect of communication.
