The fundamental purpose of learning language is communication.Appellation,as an important part of language, plays an irreplaceable role in daily communication. Its distinctive nationality and systematicness can also reflect the culture of language to a certain extent.Appellation research has been a research topic that linguists and anthropologists are very concerned about:through the study of kinship terms we can find the relative definition of a nation,in order to further study the family relationship and the ethical relationship;through the study of social appellation we can find a national psychological performance in daily communication in order to further study on the social relations and social structure. With the improvement of China's economic strength and international status, more and more students in Thailand choose to learn Chinese.China and Thailand belong to Asian countries, both Thai and Chinese belong to Sino Tibetan,Chinese appellation system used to influence Thai appellation, but they have different directions,so the Chinese appellation and Thai appellation are different, which is worth studying. The appellations in different languages are not one-to-one correspondence.Language learning is not simply finding synonyms. It may have negative effects on communication if the national thoughts and culture behind the language are not clear. In this paper, through the comparison and classification of Chinese appellation and Thai appellation,we can find the similarities and differences, combined with my teaching experience, and investigate the errors that Thailand students may have while studying Chinese appellation. And give some strategies which may have certain significance for Chinese teaching. This article will explain the research background in the first chapter, and review the relevant research results. In the second chapter, the comparison of the Chinese and Thai kinship terms will be made to find out the similarities and differences of the appellations of the Chinese and Thai relatives. In the third chapter,Chinese and Thai social appellations will be classified and the similarities and differences will be found.Through the previous language comparison, the fourth chapters use corpus and questionnaire to collect the problems that Thailand students are easy to appear in the study of Chinese appellations, and use the combination of qualitative and quantitative research to analyze. In the fifth chapter, through the analysis of the<International Curriculum For Chinese Language Education>and the investigation of the teachers who have been teaching Chinese in Thailand, and combining with my teaching experience,it will put forward some suggestions and countermeasures about the syllabus and Chinese teaching. In the concluding part,it will summarize the problems and corresponding solutions in the present Chinese appellation teaching.
