This article takes the verb "find" commonly used in modern Chinese as the research object.There are few related research on the verb "find".The previous research is mainly focus on the evolution of "find",or the analysis of the verb "find" in a certain angle.There is still no article of the verb "find”in combination with the second language teaching and foreign students' learning.Under the perspective of the second language teaching,this article intends to sort out the arrangement and distribution of "find" in the teaching materials of the foreign Chinese language teaching,such as "the vocabulary outline for teaching Chinese as a foreign language","Chinese course","New practical Chinese reader","Developing Chinese","Bridge,and "BoYa Chinese" etc.,and use various methods to describe and analyze the verb "find" in detail,and fully explore its versatility and flexibility.Then,retrieve the Beijing university of Chinese HSK dynamic composition corpus and BCC corpus,sorting out the cases related to "find" examples,to explore the foreign students' acquisition situation of the verb "find" and the errors that may occur and the reason of errors.Finally,the paper tries to put forward some suggestions about the verb "find" in the teaching method of Chinese as a foreign language.
