With the development of China's economy and the continuous progress of science and technology,the medical system has gradually improved.With the continuous improvement of people's material living standard and the extension of their life span,the aging degree of our country is increasing.Therefore,the health problems of middle-aged and elderly people are gradually highlighted,which brings tremendous pressure and challenges to the country,society,families and individuals.At this time,the quality of life of the elderly has gradually become the focus of social attention.In recent years,more and more middle-aged and elderly people take part in fitness ballroom dancing exercise(hereinafter referred to as exercise or exerciser),and begin to pay attention to the improvement of "quality of life".This paper collects and collates the literature,investigation and measurement methods,and obtains the relevant research data on the quality of life and exercise.A questionnaire of quality of life was designed to survey 330 exercisers in Wuhan main urban area to understand their problems in exercise,health and quality of life.Meanwhile,the questionnaire of quality of life(WHOQOL-BREF)was used to measure them.In addition,it was more intuitive,real and accurate to understand the feelings of the exercisers.In addition,face-to-face interviews were used to conduct in-depth and detailed interviews with them.Exchange and ask about the positive impact of this exercise on their lifestyle,grade of life,quality of life and so on.Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,this paper focuses on the five aspects of physical health,mental health,social function,subjective judgment and evaluation,satisfaction and well-being to study the main impact of exercise on the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people.The results showed that the number of women was significantly higher than that of men;the age group was concentrated between 45 and 59 years old;the cultural level of the exercisers was generally higher;retirement and administrative industry exercisers were the main ones;the exercise years were generally longer,and the time of each exercise was longer.Exercise became an indispensable part of their daily life.Especially,the overall quality of life of middle-aged and old people who take part in long-term exercise is higher than the general public norm.Mainly in the following five aspects.(1)Physiologically,it manifests itself in the improvement of living ability and positive transformation of the role of "society".(2)Psychologically,it shows optimistic attitude towards life and regulation and improvement of its own emotions.(3)In terms of social function,it manifests itself in the continuous integration with society and promotes the continuing socialization of the middle-aged and the elderly.(4)Subjective judgment and evaluation have different degrees of recognition and satisfaction in terms of physical and mental health.On the other hand,they also have a positive impact on others,families and society.(5)In terms of satisfaction and well-being,it shows a good emotional response after the individual needs have been met.On the other hand,it has a relatively high degree of satisfaction and satisfaction with the impact of fitness ballroom dancing exercise.Recommendations:(1)Attaching importance to the study of the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people not only exists in the study of physical health,but also in the study of mental health,social health and overall health.(2)To study the characteristics and functions of fitness ballroom dancing in an all-round way,and to explore the value of fitness ballroom dancing in other age groups more scientifically.(3)This paper is based on the study of the positive impact of long-term exercise on the overall quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people through fitness ballroom dance exercise,and there is no excessive negative impact of research.Although there are some research results,there are some errors due to the number of surveys and the limitations of the region.It is hoped that other researchers can carry out research more widely and accurately.
