Study On The Competitiveness Evaluation Of Cultural Tourism Industry

Culture is the soul and tourism is the carrier.They complement each other and coexist.Developing tourism with the idea of culture and spreading culture with the way of tourism.The integration of culture and tourism will better meet people's needs for a better life.In the new era,how to correctly evaluate the development trend of the tourism industry in tourist destinations or clarify the advantages and disadvantages of the tourist destination?And how can tourist destinations gain competitive advantages to better meet the needs of the people?It is becoming the focus of attention in the academic and industry circles.This research chooses the cultural tourism industry as the research object.On the premise of understanding the related theories of cultural tourism at home and abroad,According to the research ideas of "literature review-theoretical basis-construction of evaluation index System-Empirical analysis-countermeasures and suggestions".Based on the content of competitiveness evaluation of cultural tourism industry at home and abroad,an evaluation model is established,which consists of four competitiveness: industrial basic competitiveness,industrial core competitiveness,industrial environmental competitiveness and industrial potential competitiveness.According to the evaluation model,an evaluation index system consisting of 33 three-level indicators is constructed.Taking Beijing,Suzhou,Hangzhou,Nanjing and Xi'an as the research objects.AHP and Holographic Radar Map are used to quantitatively analyze and compare the competitiveness of cultural tourism industry,and corresponding suggestions and measures are put forward.The results show that: Beijing ranks first in the overall ranking,with an average score in each item.Only the industrial environment ranked second,indicating that the competitiveness of Beijing's cultural tourism industry is in the leading level in these cities.The ranking of Suzhou in all aspects is at a low level,which is relatively weak compared with other cities.Hangzhou ranks third in terms of industrial base,industrial core,industrial environment and industrial potential.It shows that the development of cultural tourism industry in Hangzhou is relatively balanced and at a medium level.Although Nanjing's industrial basic competitiveness and industrial development potential are relatively weak,its core competitiveness and industrial development environment are better.The comprehensive competitiveness of Xi'an ranks fifth,and it is in the middle and lower levels among the five cities.Finally,according to the results of competitiveness evaluation,the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the competitiveness of cultural tourism industry in these five cities.
