With the development of Internet and rapid change of science and technology,China takes the good opportunity and develops different business modes which are related with Internet.Obviously,these business modes drive China's economic growth.Previously,the stereotype for most people was that China was inferior to America in many fields.However,we can feel more and more people around the world begin to learn Chinese innovations in recent years.Since the translation of texts about Internet innovation is increasing,it is necessary to improve our translation ability about informative texts.The book Chinese Innovations Leading in the World was written by Zou Lei and published by Publishing House of Electronics Industry in July,2017.The translation practice mainly introduces topics such as Smart Parking,Mobile payment,take-out mode and their connections with Internet innovations,etc.Since there are many new terminologies about Internet technology in the practice and the final goal of us is making target readers understand the text and learn some experiences from Chinese innovations.Meanwhile,the practice can also encourage scientific and technological talents to develop related technologies in other fields.Thus,translators should try to make their translation clearer and easier to understand.In addition,after knowing the characteristics and translation principles about the text,proper translation strategies such as paraphrase,amplification,message rearrangement and conversion of parts of speech are adopted by the author.The report can be divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,something about the practice is introduced briefly,including the background and significance of the material,analysis of the text and competences required by translators.The second chapter explains the translation process,which includes preparation before translation and implementation of the translation plan.Besides,it also describes approaches and principles of translating informative texts,etc.The third chapter is the key part of the report.The author describes translation difficulties in detail,mainly from lexical and syntactic levels and proposes some proper translation strategies.And the fourth chapter is the conclusion part,mainly summarizing the report and explainingproblems which still need to be solved as well as inspiration gained from the translation task and exploration about the practice of translation in the future.The author hopes this report can encourage more people to focus on the development of Chinese Internet innovations and provide references for translators' further translation about the similar texts.
