The lack of active participation of learners and the unsatisfactory response of teachers are two common problems faced by MOOC interaction.To improve the construction of interactive modules,this thesis explores and analyzes the MOOC interactive module of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The research problems are:(1)What is the current status of the MOOC interactive module for teaching Chinese as a foreign language?(2)How is the participation of teachers and learners in the interaction module?(3)What is the learner's understanding and user experience of the interactive module?The study found:(1)The main interactive form of the interactive module is forum.The most common posts is about knowledge learning.The most posts are in English,and language usage have significant differences in course and theme.Based on the number of posts,numerical labels and meaning tags,the enthusiasm and initiative of learners to participate in interaction is not strong.(2)The topics of posts published by teachers and learners are mostly knowledge learning.The language most used by teachers is English&Pinyin,and the most used by learners is English.The posts posted by teachers and learners are significantly different on the numeric labels.Teacher responses have significant differences in the curriculum.The knowledge-learning posts are most frequently replied while the posts on the theme of finding a language partner is least replied.The overall response is not ideal.(3)The purpose of the learner's participation in the interaction is to seek help,and the emotional need for teacher participation is quite great.Interactive navigation design.discussion atmosphere and the organization of the discussion forum have a greater impact on learners' participation.The learner's satisfaction with the interactive form of the current courses is low.Learners' understanding of the interactive module and the learner's interactive module user experience have significant differences in Chinese level,and there are no significant differences in the cultural background.According to the research results,the suggestions of perfecting MOOC interactive module for teaching Chinese as a foreign language are as followings:In the choice of interactive forms:(1)combining synchronous and asynchronous interaction,using the forum + real-time online chat mode;(2)creating a Facebook learning group to establish a learning community.In the construction of interactive forms:(1)The division of the posts of the forum is divided into seven sections:experience exchange,course related,platform use,daily chat,knowledge learning,finding language partners,and self-introduction;(2)In term with posts function settings,numeric label should be added with total number of responses/comments,insights/browsing and like while meaning tags should be added with text type,report,follow discussion and post status.In the organization of management personnel:(1)selecting teaching assistants to alleviate the pressure of serious imbalance between teachers and students;(2)distributing the responsibilities of managing different interactive sections to teachers and teaching assistants to improve the quality and efficiency of course response;(3)using more "English+Chinese characters/Pinyin" mode to increase learner language input.
