In the field of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language,cultural teaching is gradually gaining importance.However,there are still many problems in specific teaching.There are many studies on cultural teachi ngbut there are still few cultural studies on specific teachi ng materials and teaching practices.This art icle will conduct a cultural items analysis and cultural teaching research on the Chinese Reading Course.This article will calculate and analyze the cultural items in the first and second volumes of the Chinese Reading Course,and propose cultural i tems teaching methods and recommendations for teachers.Moreover,the author will innovate the specific case design of cultural items teaching according to the textbook.The author combines the research results of the academic circles and the specific content of the textbook,and divides the cultural items of the textbook into two categories:knowledge culture and communicative culture.It is also divided into 13 sub-categories such as language and literature,thinking culture and historical geography.According to statistical analysis,the first volume of communicative cultural items are more than the second volume,while the second volume of cultural items are more widely distributed and more average.The author evaluates the selection and arrangement of the textbook cultural items,and finds that the textbook cultural items are rich in variety and practical,while the features of interest,the times and the matching are not prominent enough.The arrangement of the cultural items is progressive and syst emat ic.Based on the existing theories and,self-t eaching prac ti ces,the author summarizes three major cultural items teaching methods,such as teacher-led method,flipped classroom method and extracurricular activity method,and takes the cultural items in the textbook as examples.In addition,this article also puts forward corresponding suggestions for teachers,such as:to be good at mining cultural items in textbooks,to use cultural contrast methods,to select cultural items in combination with students' professions and interests.Finally,based on the teaching practice experience in Thailand,the author creatively designed specific cultural items teaching cases and cultural items teaching cases in the reading class according to the Chinese Reading Course.This article will be useful for the study of textbook culture items and the study of cultural teaching in reading classes,and will enrich the teaching cases related to cultural items in the field of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
