The Movie Clip "Blank In Beauty"

Movies have been colliding and merging with local art and culture since they entered China,which has a long history.Generations of movies have poured stories and ideas from traditional culture into this comprehensive art.Movie editing has been changing from a technology to art and theory,and developing constantly in the West.Chinese Traditional Paintings pursues "charm" and "artistic conception".The development and perfection of thousands of years make it have strong national characteristics,which is our important cultural symbol,and "blank" is the most important one.The "blank" of paintings is not a blank,but a combination of reality and fiction,so that the viewer has imaginative space,which is in line with the purpose of film editing.A film with "blank" can make some choices in the expression of sound and painting,improve the narrative,and make the audience associate and think while watching it.This paper first reviews the development of film editing and the importance of blank in Chinese Traditional Paintings.Then,from the perspective of sound and narration,it analyses several typical "blank" in film editing.Finally,focusing on the two excellent works of "Spring in a Small Town" and "The Assassin",it analyses how to highlight the concept of "blank" in film editing.
