Research On College Education And The Inheritance Local Folk Music Based On Investigation

Folk music culture is blood and root of the national culture.Cultural inheritance and innovation is an important mission for universities,and it is the necessary requirement for universities to cultivate Chinese socialist builders and successors who are well developed morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically and physically.It is the common responsibility and problem that universities must face to cultivate and guide the university students having sense of identity for the Chinese traditional music culture as well as make them become the main force to inherit and develop the Chinese traditional music culture.Jiangxi's local folk music resources are various and abundant,with nearly 100 items included in the provincial intangible cultural heritage list and 27 items included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects.Inheriting and developing Jiangxi local folk music culture is the unshirkable responsibility of universities in Jiangxi Province.Based on the questionnaire survey of students majoring in music and non-music from 4 universities in Jiangxi province,this paper carried out a research-based study on the role of university education in Jiangxi local folk music inheritance.In this survey,a total of 450 questionnaires were randomly distributed to university students from 4 universities,and 449 valid questionnaires were recovered.Among them,there were 200 valid questionnaires for music majors and 249 valid questionnaires for non-music majors.Based on the statistics results of the survey,combined with some interviews,this paper summarized and sorted out the main problems,including the university students lacking responsibility for national folk music culture,the absence of universities in education on national folk music art and culture,the unclear prominent characteristics,obsolete teaching content,and overall level of teachers needing to be improved further etc.Specific suggestions and measures are put forward to solve these problems.It is suggested: The key to inherit and develop Jiangxi local folk music culture is changing the ideas of the government and teachers as well as establishing a long-term solidified mechanism.It is an effective way to inherit and develop the Jiangxi local folk music culture by improving the overall academic level of the teachers,supplementing course vacancies,perfecting unified textbooks,creating a dense artistic practice atmosphere,as well as cultivating and guiding the university students' sense of identity,pride,responsibility and mission.It is expected that this study will be beneficial for promoting and exerting the role of university education in inheriting and spreading Jiangxi local folk music.
