Research On Chinese Cultural Vocabulary And Its Teaching Method In The Word List Of New Strategy Chinese

We all know that language and culture have an inseparable relationship and the vocabulary in a language also reflects the cultures behind it.Nowadays,“Mandarin fever” has spread all over the world,especially in Korea.On the street we can see many Chinese academies.The age of the Chinese learners range from kindergarten children to elder people of sixty or seventy years old.Someone studies for getting a good job,someone for a better university,but most of them studies because of the enthusiasm for Chinese and Chinese culture.And there is a kind of Chinese vocabulary reflects the traditional Chinese culture most,that is the cultural vocabulary.Therefore the Chinese cultural vocabulary has a great research value.As a Chinese teacher worked in Korea for three years,I found that the teachers and students in Korea do not know enough about the Chinese cultural vocabulary,so they can not learn and use these words efficiently.This is also the original purpose of this paper.Facing so many kinds of Chinese textbooks in Korea,this paper adopted the New Strategy Chinese as the research object after a comparison.The method of literature review and chart analysis will be used in this paper.First,a statistic will be made in an intuitive way,then make a classification and brief analysis of the cultural vocabulary.At the end of this paper,according to my personal teaching experience in Korea and the feelings of using this textbook,I will put forward some suggestions on teaching and textbook compilation.This paper will be divided into three chapters: Introduction: a statement of the propose of the topic,innovation and the research method;Chapter 1 Statistic and analysis of the cultural vocabulary in the new word list in <New Strategy Chinese>,in this part,I found that the Chinese vocabulary is less and distributed unevenly;Chapter 2: Suggestions on teaching methods of cultural vocabulary in <New Strategy Chinese>: combining nine kinds of teaching methods with each category of cultural vocabulary,then summarize the most suitable teaching method.At the end of the paper,I will put forward some suggestions for the compilation of the cultural vocabulary in <New Strategy Chinese>.
