Translation Practice Report On Web Page Translation Of Cross-border E-commerce Platform

In recent years,with the continuous development of economic globalization,as a new form of trade type,cross-border e-commerce has been growing stronger and stronger.Compared with traditional import and export trade,cross-border e-commerce takes unique advantages,such as Across time and space,make the buyers and sellers around the world to complete trade transactions through online trading.Buyers and sellers have preliminary communication through text or picture description on the web page.Therefore,accurate and context-sensitive description of product web page is particularly important.This translation practice report is exemplified by the Amazon Japan stand product page translation,Combined with internship and actual translation experience and author in Luoyang Science&Technology City E-commerce co.LTD.Through the analysis of translation characteristics in cross-border e-commerce products,discussed the common problems of this kind of translation,and puts forward my own solutions.In this six-month internship,i compiled six product description web pages of amazon,with about 10,000 words,mainly translated from Chinese to Japanese.In addition,this report also discusses different translation strategy according to the characteristics of different modules.In the text type translation,Peter new mark proposed that "different translation methods should be adopted for different text types".Peter new mark's classification of different text types has given me a new understanding of the text classification standards for translation between Chinese and Japanese languages.Through reflection on these problems and post-translation reflection,practical experience and translation theory can be better combined.It will help me to improving the personal translation level,i also hope to supply some reference for the people who wish to pursue a career in cross-border e-commerce website page translation.
