For individuals, the improvement of prosocial behavior can help them better adapt to the social environment, and is conducive to social stability and stability for the society. When people are in a particular situation and experience varying degrees of guilt, then he is likely to be inclined to implement some form of prosocial behavior. The researchers verified this by various means. At the same time, most researchers pointed out that the internal identity of moral identity plays a key role in the development of prosocial behavior. In the first study,a questionnaire was used to conduct a wide-ranging test on1,822 young people from the first year of junior high school to the first year of college.Emphasis is placed on the connection between guilt as a typical high-level emotion, moral identity with trait attributes, and prosocial behavioral tendencies. The final analysis showed that as a moral mood, guilt can significantly predict the level of prosocial behavioral trends of adolescents. There is a partial mediating effect between moral identity and the relationship between adolescents and prosocial behavioral tendencies. In other words, guilt can not only directly affect the prosocial behavioral tendencies of adolescents, but also indirectly affect the prosocial behavior of adolescents through the trait of moral identity. The questionnaire method was used to initially examine the relationship between guilt, moral identity and prosocial behavioral tendency. In the second study, the experimental method was used to manipulate the guilty emotions of the subjects through the paradigm of emotional initiation, and the influence of guilty emotions on the prosocial behavior of the adolescents was further examined from the behavioral level. The results of the study show that under the state of ecstasy, adolescents will give their task partners more tokens in the dictator game. From the aspect of compensation, its prosocial behavior level has been improved accordingly.Study 3 uses the same experimental paradigm to explore whether the induced guilty emotions can temporarily raise the level of moral identity of adolescents, and then improve their prosocial behavior. The results show that the induction ofshort-term guilty emotions is not enough to quickly improve their moral identity, and thus their prosocial behavior has improved.
