Single Charaters Teaching In Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language

The teaching of Chinese characters is what TCFL focus and difficulty.The Chinese characters are different from western alpha-characters,have strong ideograms and cultural implications.As the earliest Chinese character,the single characters has rich cultural implications,and the single character has a strong ability to construct characters,which can constitute most of the combined characters and play a role as the root of English words in the teaching of Chinese characters.It's very importance to learn single characters well.Therefore,this paper attempts to start with culture,to link the cultural character of mono-character with teaching Chinese as foreign language,and to apply culture to the teaching of mono-character..This article selects the student teaching material "recognizes the Chinese character,writes the Chinese character" to carry on the analysis,selects 54 has the cultural implication the single character carries on the cultural analysis,and tries to use in the teaching.There are five chapters in this essay.The first chapter is general introduction,tthe second chapter is the significance of the teaching of single characters.This chapter is divided into three parts.The first part is the screening and classification of the single characters to be taught.The second part is the current teaching methods and their comments,the third part is the use of culture in the teaching of single characters advantages.The fourth chapter is the principle of applying culture to independent character teaching,the concrete operation method,and the matters needing attention.The last chapter is an instructional design.Finally is the conclusion,carries on the summary to the front said content.
