A Study Of Single Characters In Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language In The Primary Stage

Chinese character is the writing symbol system of Chinese,it is a kind of ideographic system character,which has always been a key and difficult part in TCFL.In terms of structure,Chinese characters can be divided into independent characters and combined characters.Single character refers to the Chinese characters that are composed of strokes directly,cannot or is not suitable to be split,and can form combined characters.It has the characteristics of small number of strokes,simple structure,high frequency of use,and mainly focuses on the primary stage of teaching Chinese characters to foreigners.More importantly,Single characters can be used as notes,ideograms and symbols to form a large number of Chinese characters.It can not only help foreign students understand the motivation of Chinese characters,but also lay a solid foundation for the follow-up study of combined characters and improve the efficiency of Chinese character teaching.This paper will make a statistical analysis on the situation that the class a Single characters in the outline of Chinese level vocabulary and Chinese character level act as the combination characters,and then investigate the compilation of the Single characters and related knowledge in the textbook of Chinese characters as a foreign language(Volume 2),and finally put forward the teaching suggestions and classroom activities and exercises suitable for the Single characters in the primary stage.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the current research on the ontology and teaching of Single characters and the research purpose,research methods and ideas of this paper;the second part is the overview of Single characters,including the selection and classification of class a Single characters in the outline of Chinese character level and the construction of class a Single characters when they are full of characters;the third part is the textbook of Chinese as a foreign language The compilation and investigation of Single characters in the textbook can be divided into two sections: the quantity and distribution of Single characters and the investigation of relevant knowledge of Single characters.The fourth part is the teaching and research of Single characters in the primary stage,including teaching suggestions,classroom activities and exercise design.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main contents of this paper.
