Story idioms are an important part of Chinese idioms,and there is a far-reaching story behind each story idiom.Because of its own artistic charm,story idioms have always been a hot and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chinese learners are more interested in their rich cultural connotations,but most of the story idioms are not only literal,but also their specific objects,occasions or distinctive emotional colors.Due to the different social and cultural backgrounds,this kind of idiom is not easy for Chinese learners to understand and master.Narrative teaching method is a new teaching method about language teaching.It advocates that a certain teaching content(a grammar point,a language teaching project or a text,etc.)and the teaching process should be designed and presented in the form of narrative as far as possible in foreign language teaching by means of narratology.This can create a real language acquisition environment for foreign language learners,so that their body and mind can participate in language learning and construction to the maximum extent.At the same time,narrative teaching method can break the dull atmosphere in the classroom and create a relaxed and pleasant language learning environment.It is also helpful to enhance students' imagination,creativity and communicative ability in foreign languages.This thesis takes the story idioms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language as the research object.The main contents include the following five parts:The first chapter is the introduction of the thesis,which introduces the origin of the topic,the research object and content,the research method,the research goal and the significance.And the relevant theoretical viewpoints of scholars at home and abroad are investigated,studied and combed,and proposes the shortcomings in the current research.In the second chapter,some Chinese learners are selected as the survey objects to conduct a questionnaire survey.This paper analyzes the value of story idioms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the main problems and the expectations of Chinese learners on the story idioms.Prepare for the later teaching design.The third chapter analyzes the feasibility and application value of the narrative teaching method applied to the teaching of story idioms in Chinese as a foreign language.Then,the narrative teaching method is applied to the teaching of story idioms of Chinese as a foreign language,which includes two parts:pre-class teaching design and classroom teaching implementation.The fourth chapter,according to the overall teaching design,takes advanced Chinese learners as the teaching object,takes the historical story idiom "impressive view" and the fable story idiom "the loss of horse" as the teaching content.Taking narrative teaching method as the main teaching method,a concrete and feasible teaching design case is given.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part of the paper,summarizes the research results,and reflects the shortcomings of my own research,points out the direction of research in the future,and hopes to provide some references and ideas for the future research.
