Research On Teaching Chinese Idioms As A Foreign Language Based On The Teaching Method Of "Performance Culture"

Chinese vocabulary teaching is an important part of the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.As for the content of Chinese idioms in vocabulary,a series of questions about what to teach and how to teach idioms appear in teaching.Starting from the problems in Chinese idiom teaching,finding a more suitable method for idiom teaching is a key step in solving the problem and also a supplement to Chinese idiom teaching.The " performance culture" teaching method advocates learning the target culture in the process of language learning,so as to achieve decent communication in the target language environment.Students not only learn the language knowledge,but also experience the Chinese culture,and also cultivate their communicative skills.Because Chinese idioms are large in quantity,diverse in content,and rich in cultural connotations,learners will encounter communication difficulties due to insufficient understanding of their cultural connotations.Based on the Outline and the Outline of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Characters(Revised Edition),with reference to the current status of idiom teaching in domestic Chinese teaching,sum up the number of commonly used idioms and screen appropriate idioms for teaching,and analyze the emergence of foreign students when they learn idioms The main reasons for errors and the problems that teachers need to pay attention to when teaching idioms.By sorting out the theory of the "sports performance culture" teaching method and the current status of teaching Chinese idioms to foreigners,and using the "performance culture" teaching method as a theory to design the teaching of Chinese idioms for foreigners,we have grasped the Chinese culture contained in idioms for teaching design.It not only enriches the methods of teaching Chinese idioms,but also satisfies the students’ desire to understand Chinese culture,and at the same time realizes the purpose of language teaching and applying the learned idioms to the appropriate context.
