A Probe Into The Influence Of Voluntary Service On The Construction Of Traditional Community Culture

The community culture has the function of enriching the residents' spiritual and cultural life,strengthening the residents' communication and improving the level of urban civilization,so it's paid more and more attention by the modern government.A considerable number of traditional communities are in China now.However,the construction of the community cultural has been impeded due to its long existence,the community composition dominated by the elderly and the floating population,the different cultural needs,and the residents' solidified communication objects.Voluntary service has become a way to build traditional community culture,because of its voluntary,cooperative,altruistic and other characteristics which can integrate a variety of resources.This paper conducted a case study of the community construction in Qibiao Community in Wuhan,based on the Marxist theory of human sociality and the theory of welfare pluralism.The concrete practice of volunteer service in the construction of community culture carrier,cultural activity construction,cultural system construction,and cultural and spiritual construction,was analyzed by adopting the method of literature research,questionnaire survey and case interview.Through the investigation,it is found that voluntary service plays a positive role in promoting the construction of traditional community culture,but the influence on the microcosmic level of traditional community culture is not balanced.This paper illustrated the reasons for the unbalanced influence of traditional community volunteer service participation in community culture construction.The distribution of volunteers is unbalanced,the volunteer professional skills are insufficient,voluntary service participation in the traditional community culture channel is limited,and volunteer service participation in the traditional community culture type is monotonous.The fund management of voluntary service participating in traditional community culture construction is not standard.The juristic guarantee system of volunteer service and the mechanism of community management operation are incomplete.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward based on the above analysis.The network communication platform should also be constructed,professional training of volunteers should be improved.The community resources could be integrated,and the mode of voluntary service could be innovated.Improve the fund management of voluntary service participation in the construction of traditional community culture.The laws and regulations of voluntary service could be established and improved.
