Complicated Sentence And Long Sentence Translation In Popular Science Texts Based On The Differences Between English And Chinese Sentences

In this case study,the chapters 12 and 13 of Augmented Reality Law,Privacy,and Ethics were selected as the source text for translation practice to understand how to translate long and complicated sentences in sientific texts well.The common characters between the two languanges consist the possibilities of translation while the differences set obstacles.However,the key to solve the problem of long and complicated sentences still lies in the diffrences in terms of sentence grammar and structure between Chinese and English languanges.Based on these and the translation practice,the translation strategies and general law of translation of long and complicated sentences were found and amounts of examples were given to verify the effectiveness.
