Report On The Internship Practice As A Legal Interpreter And Translator For The Difference And Similarity Between Legal Translation And Legal Interpreting

Legal translation and interpreting have played a very important role in the development of China's economic,cultural exchanges.Nowadays,the economic globalization has constantly on the surge.Against the background of English as the global language,different walks of life in China will,more or less participate in the international exchanges and cooperation.Thus they inevitably will encounter and use English to serve their purposes.Foreign trade has been integral part of the whole economic development,and it naturally needs the translation of different languages and exchange of various cultures,among which English-Chinese translation and interpreting accounts a dominant ratio.In terms of protecting the rights and interests of people,the role of legal translation and interpreting is significantly self-evident.And this report is based on the author's internship as a legal translator and interpreter,in the hope of delivering the author's view on the legal translation and interpreting.This report mainly elaborates the characteristics of legal translation,the difference and similarities between legal translation and interpreting specifically and project management procedure and control of legal translation and interpreting tasks.
