Hermeneutics is a discipline of understanding and interpretation. It is one of the mainstream of contemporary Western philosophical thoughts. Its history has a long history and has evolved into a worldwide trend of thought.Modern hermeneutics, represented by Gadamer, upholds the idea that "all translations are actually interpretations",providing a new perspective for literary translation. From the perspective of hermeneutics, translation is the process of fusion of horizons. Then, literary translation is a fusion of the subjective and objective factors formed by the original author, the source text, the translator, the target language(translated language),the target language, and the target reader in a cross-cultural context. The essence of the process is to understand and interpret the meaning of the source text, that is,to transplant the artistic image of the source text into the translated text. The subjective and objective factors are related to each other, restrict each other, and influence each other, making it difficult for translation to achieve the desired interpretation. As early as the 1940s,China have had Chinese translation of "Crime and Punishment".So far,it has reached more than 20 kinds, but the most popular ones are Yue Lin translation,non-qin translation,Zhu Haiguan and Wang Wen translation. This article selects them as a reason for the corpus.Based on the guiding role of hermeneutics in literary translation, this thesis uses hermeneutic theory to analyze different Chinese translations of "Crime and Punishment",aiming to deepen the understanding of literary translation and put the concept of "translation is interpretation" into concrete Russian-Chinese literature translation practice.First of all, based on the three Chinese translations of "Sin and Punishment",the literary, fidelity and creativity are reinterpreted, and the literary translation is the view that the literary translation is one.Secondly,it analyzes the difficulties of translation interpretation, and analyzes how to reproduce the source language culture and appropriately reflect the subjective factors of the translator in the translated text. Finally, the strategies of translation interpretation are discussed-the naturalization method, the alienation method and the comprehensive method. In short, hermeneutics can be used as a research method to broaden the research horizon of literary translation and update traditional theoretical concepts.
