Passive sentences are used very frequently in both Chinese and Arabic, but the two are very different. The "Bei" sentence is one of the most typical passive sentences in Chinese. It is one of the special sentences with the highest frequency of use,and it is also a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Although the study about the "Bei" sentence in the field of Chinese international education is becoming more and more abundant, from the perspective of nationalized teaching, there are few studies about the students in the Middle East. After reviewing the data, the author found that there is only one master’s paper on error analysis of the students in Middle East, which has conducted a questionnaire survey on Sudanese students. However, the sample size of that questionnaire is very small, and the paper only examines it from the syntactic aspect, ignoring the semantic and pragmatic aspect. Therefore, this paper combines the research of predecessors and chooses to analyze from the three dimensions of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. This paper analyze the error type of the "Bei" sentence in the HSK dynamic composition corpus, and then takes the students of the University of Jordan majoring in Chinese as an example, collects their error data by questionnaire and interview. And analyze the error type compared with the error summarized in the corpus,in order to find out the difficulties and characteristics of local learners and find out the reasons. Then put forward some targeted countermeasures, hoping to enrich the teaching strategy of the “Bei”sentence for Chinese learners in the Middle East and providing some reference for the nationalization of teaching Chinese as the second language. The author found that the students majoring in Chinese in the University of Jordan have the following types of errors: syntactic error, semantic error and pragmatic error. In the syntactic error, compared with the types of errors collected by the HSK dynamic composition corpus, the Jordanian learners have their particularity. For example, from the view of the syntactic error, the omission is the most frequently occurring type of error in the HSK corpus, which is concentrated in the omission of the word “Bei”;while the Chinese learners in the University of Jordan, except for the omission of the word “Bei”,they tend to miss the subject.Although the misordering error is not too much, compared with the corpus, the Chinese major students have some new errors :misordering the agent and the object. The two tend to have different errors havea lot to do with the Jordanian learner’s native language_Arabic.Therefore,in order to make teaching more effective for Chinese learners who speak Arabic,it is necessary to pay more attention to the differences between Chinese and Arabic. |
