Study Of Related Words In Complex Sentences In Late Qing Dynasty And Early Republic Of China

Associated words are one of the important markers of complex sentences.They play the role of connection and emphasis in Chinese sentences in various forms.With the help of the types of associated words in complex sentences,the structure of complex sentences can be analyzed and the relationship types between complex sentences can be further determined.The linguistic circle has paid little attention to the language research in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,hoping to enrich this research by studying the related words of complex sentences in this period.Vernacular newspapers and periodicals in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China provided us with the most suitable corpus for studying the complex sentence related words in this period because of their wide spread and numerous reception.This paper analyzes the complex sentence related words appearing in ten vernacular newspapers and periodicals in detail in order to summarize the characteristics of the complex sentence related words in this period.This article is divided into the introduction part.The first chapter is an overview of complex sentence related words in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.It is divided into the first section,definition of complex sentence related words in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,and the second section,classification and statistics of complex sentence related words in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.The second chapter is about the associative words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,which are divided into the first section of parallel associative words,the second section of consecutive associative words,the third section of choosing associative words,the fourth section of progressive associative words and the fifth section of explaining associative words.The third chapter is the partial positive related words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,which are divided into the first section conditional related words,the second section causal related words,the third section hypothetical related words,the fourth section turning related words,and the fifth program related words.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristics and motivation of the related words in complex sentences in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.Thelast part is the conclusion.The introduction part introduces the significance and value of the topic,introduces the current research situation of the topic,and gives a detailed overview of the research methods used in the research of the topic,as well as the source and scope of the corpus used in the topic.In the first chapter,the related words of complex sentences in late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China are defined and classified,and the distribution of the related words of complex sentences in ten vernacular newspapers and periodicals is counted by means of tables.In the second chapter,according to the semantic relationship within the sentence,the associated words of the late Qing dynasty and the early Republic of China are divided into five categories: parallel associated words,continuous associated words,selection of associated words,progressive associated words and explanation associated words.In the third chapter,according to the semantic relations within the clauses,the partial positive related words in the late Qing dynasty and the early Republic of China are divided into five categories: conditional related words,causal related words,hypothetical related words,transitional related words and purpose related words.This paper makes a comprehensive description and analysis of each group of various relationships and each related word,paying special attention to the special usage of some related words.In the fourth chapter,by summarizing some special related words and phenomena,it is concluded that the related words in the late Qing dynasty and the early Republic of China have the characteristics of transition,diversity and complexity,and the motivation analysis is made for the characteristics.The last part of the conclusion summarizes the writing ideas and the overall framework of the thesis,and summarizes some problems in the writing process.
