Special-shaped words are defined as: a word has a different way of writing,the sound and meaning of a word is the same and the word form is different,and can be called as a special-shaped word at will.In the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,there have been dramatic changes in our society.The synchronic and diachronic study of a large number of heteromorphic words in this stage can help us to further understand the shape and meaning of Chinese words and the evolution of the meaning of the Chinese words in order to improve the theoretical study of the special-shaped words in this period.This paper will make exhaustive statistics on the heteromorphic words in ten kinds of vernacular newspapers and periodicals,and then make statistics and analyze the heteromorphic words in the vernacular newspapers and periodicals on the basis of the statistics and the analysis of the heteromorphic words in the vernacular newspapers.Through the research,the heteromorphic words are not irregular and have a series of characters.Compared with the special-shaped words in ancient Chinese and modern Chinese,it is found that the general usage and special usage of the special-shaped words and the relationship between them and the rule of the evolution of the special-shaped words.The study of the special-shaped words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China is also an inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.This article includes several parts:Introduction,this paper mainly introduces the significance of the topic,research status,research methods and corpus sources.The first chapter "the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Rep ublic of China".This part first analyzes the language appearance in the late Qi ng Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and defines the special-shaped wor ds in combination with the forefathers' views,discriminating the differences and relations between the special-shaped words and the faked characters,the hypoth etical words,the ancient and modern characters,the homonyms and the heteromo rphic characters.In addition,the selection principle of heteromorphic words in the vernacular newspaper of late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China is defined as: co-existence,heteromorphism,isophonic,equisemantic,monosyllabic.Com bined with the development characteristics of Chinese vocabulary,the characteris tics of heteromorphic words in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China are mainly reflected in its transitory,succession and seriality.Based on the str uctural relation type and the meaning relation type of the special-shaped words,this paper classifies the special-shaped words of the vernacular dialect in the la te Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.Class.The second chapter,"the structural relationship types of idiomorphic words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China",firstly classifies the word formation types of the heteromorphic words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China according to the formation of words.Then it describes the simple heteromorphic words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and the compound heteromorphic words in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.The third chapter classifies the special-shaped words of the vernacular in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China according to the type of meaning-relation in terms of the types of the special-shaped meanings of the vernacular words in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.Heteromorphic words are classified according to the same,crossover or inclusion relationship of a group of words in the spatial distribution of meaning.The fourth chapter "description of colloquial homonyms in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China" focuses on the horizontal relationship of the structural units in the lexical combination relationship,looks for the same heteromorphic elements in the heteromorphic words,and makes an analysis of these series of heteromorphic words.According to whether they can replace each other,they can be divided into one-way word group and two-way word group.Explore its internal semantic relationship.At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the special heteromorphic elements "very" and "ruthless" were analyzed according to the collocation of the words.Chapter five "Analysis of the cause of formation of Special-shaped words in the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty" this part analyzes and summarizes the main causes of the special-shaped words through the consensus,diachronic and case studies of the special-shaped words in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China.There are four main causes: because of false characters,allogeneic characters,ancient and modern characters and by a variety of methods to produce heteromorphic words.Among them,the number of heteromorphic words caused by ancient and modern characters is the largest,followed by the formation of false characters.It reflects the instability of the vernacular newspaper language in the transition period between the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
