This article takes Marcuse's utopian thought as the research theme.By analyzing his utopian thoughts in different periods,he concludes that Marcuse's utopian thoughts are different from traditional utopian thoughts. The organic integration of Marxism and utopianism is a clue that runs through Marcuse's utopian thought, and has a significant influence in the field of Western Marxism. If you want to fully understand Marcuse's utopian ideas, you must study and marshal Marcuse's ideas at different stages.Under the influence of humanism,Marcuse's outlook on socialism was too "utopianized";under the influence of Bloch's philosophy of hope,Marcuse had a preliminary correct understanding of utopia, which was later Utopian theory laid the foundation.Marcuse 's utopian ideas gradually sprouted in his early texts, and he believed that “labor emancipation” was an important way to achieve utopia.Since then, the utopian ideas in “Civilization of Love and Desire” have turned to“emancipation of love and desire”,emphasizing non-repression The establishment of civilization can make utopias realistic and concrete, but in the later period of the liberation theory of eroticism,it fell into the state of "psychological utopianism".In the late 1960 s,Marcuse 's research focus gradually shifted from pure philosophy and psychology to the “specific utopia” where art determines the success or failure of the revolution. He proposed to replace instinct with “new sensibility” and replace instinct revolution with aesthetic revolution.,Marcuse changed from a critic to a romantic. In general,Marcuse has been exploring the connection between Marxism and utopianism throughout his life, trying to make the two organically combine, thereby innovating a Marxism that can be applied to contemporary society and has humanistic characteristics. In the end,let them guide human liberation and move towards a free life.Although his thinking is biased towards romantic fantasy,Marcuse's utopian thinking still provides us with a spirit of academic inquiry that must remain critical and innovative at all times.
