A Report On C-E Translation Of The New Energy Strategy Of America From The Perspective Of Newmark's Text Typology Theory

In recent years,with the skyrocketing advancement of science,technology and economy in this vigorous world,people's demand for energy resource is also in an exponential manner ascending.Mutually beneficial cooperation and communication in the field of new energy in the world has become a common phenomenon especially in the commercial trade among different countries.Therefore,the translation is becoming increasingly significant in the field.Under the guidance of Newmark's text typology theory,this paper discusses the specific methods on the basis of the chosen translation material.In the theory,he classifies all texts into the three main types: informative texts,vocative texts and expressive texts.Given the linguistic characteristics of translation material,we finally come to a conclusion that the selected text is an informative text by means of analysis and discussion.From the three dimensions of the source text: vocabulary,syntax and discourse,the author will adopt the corresponding methods in the source text,such as: literal translation,splitting and conversion for the sake of making the translation more accurate and perfect and improving the feasibility of text type theory in the translation of the chosen material,and providing a basic reference for the translation of the similar chosen text.
