There are a large number of Chinese characters with similar structure and slight differences.For Cambodian Chinese learners who are in the non-Chinese cultural circle,characters with similar forms are the most prone to errors in Chinese characters.This paper uses the methods of literature research,statistical analysis,type analysis and comparative analysis to analyze the Chinese characters included in the textbook Learning Chinese Characters From Ms.Zhang used by the Chinese department of Asia Euro university in Cambodia,and sort out the confusable groups of Chinese characters.Then analyze the errors of similar characters in Cambodian students' homework and examination papers,and classify the errors into two types:single-element similar characters errors and combined characters with similar form errors.According to the detailed division of characters with similar form errors,this thesis discusses the reasons of characters with similar form errors from three aspects:the characteristics of Chinese characters,teachers' teaching and the particularity of Cambodian Chinese learners.In terms of the characteristics of Chinese characters,this paper mainly starts with the strokes and components of Chinese characters to analyze the influence of the characteristics of Chinese characters on errors.In terms of teachers' teaching,this paper mainly analyzes the factors of teachers' teaching methods and school curriculum arrangement.In terms of Chinese learners in Cambodia,the factors of Chinese learners affected by cultural differences are discussed.Finally,in view of these reasons,some teaching suggestions are proposed from two aspects of teaching methods and practice methods.In terms of teaching methods,it is mainly proposed that we should pay attention to distinguishing features teaching,character teaching,stroke teaching,component teaching and interesting teaching.In terms of practice method,it is proposed to carry on the targeted exercise,and introduce the game mechanism into the exercise form appropriately.
