In recent years,with the continuous improvement of China's overall national strength and the strengthening of cultural strength,the "Chinese fever" is spreading rapidly around the world.The traditional classroom teaching mode cannot meet the increasing Number of Chinese learners and their enthusiasm for learning.It is greatly affected by time and region,and the teaching cost is high.In order to meet the enthusiasm of Chinese learners in their home countries and solve the problem of insufficient teaching resources such as local teachers,many countries and regions have launched Chinese TV teaching programs with local characteristics.NHK Educational TV Chinese TV Teaching Program—"Watching TV to Learn Chinese" has been well-received by Japanese Chinese learners since 1967.It has a history of more than 50 years.It is a very representative and high-quality Chinese TV teaching program in Japan,which is still Being broadcast."5W" communication model is a one-way communication mode in communication.The communication chain constructed by it contains five elements.That is Who?Says what?In which channel?To whom?With what effect.The Chinese TV teaching program is a cross-cultural information dissemination and exchange activity based on the mass media as the carrier of language and culture.Its essence is communication.We hope to take the case of the excellent Chinese TV teaching program abroad,such as "Watching TV to Learn Chinese".Analyzing the entire dissemination process of the program from five factors of communications.At the same time,compared with the Chinese TV teaching programs broadcast to the whole world in China,we want to find the flash points and deficiencies in "Watching TV to Learn Chinese".The work provides certain lessons to be learned.We hope it can provide some useful experience for the development of localized Chinese TV teaching programs and even the promotion of Chinese.The research finds that:1.In terms of disseminators.the audience of Chinese TV Teaching Program are more inclined to choose media similar to their cultural background,religious beliefs,etc.And Japanese audiences are more willing to choose Chinese TV teaching programs of China-Japan.Therefore,communicators should actively cooperate with local TV media when producing localized TV programs for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and adopt a "Chinese+Foreign" strategy in setting the host.2.In terms of dissemination of content," Watching TV to Learn Chinese," with Japanese Chinese learners as the main audience focuses on proNunciation and grammar.In terms of Chinese characters,the advantage of Japanese learners' mother tongue's positive transfer involves only the writing of simplified characters.And the program takes an evasive attitude towards Chinese traditional culture.In making TV programs for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,Chinese media should learn from each other's weaknesses,learn from their experiences,and actively take advantage of the native language's advantages of local audiences when learning Chinese to understand their deficiencies.At the same time,make up for the disadvantages and deficiencies of local Chinese TV teaching programs,and promote Chinese culture in a positive and correct way.3.In terms of communication channels,in addition to focusing on traditional media such as television,newspapers,and broadcast,"Watching TV to Learn Chinese " actively develops new media such as mobile phone apps and social media to make up for the inherent disadvantage of the lack of two-way interaction of traditional media.Chinese programs should keep pace with the rapid development of traditional and new media,broaden the broadcasting platform,give full play to existing advantages,and actively supplement the shortcomings other than television media.In terms of audiences,"Watching TV to Learn Chinese" caused double loss of potential audience and ratings due to broadcast time and other restrictions,but the program was well received by the audience.Therefore,the broadcasting schedule of our country should take into account the viewing habits of local audiences,and vigorously attract potential audiences without losing the target audience.At the same time,the communicator should investigate the audience of Chinese TV teaching programs in depth,and have accurate analysis and accurate grasp of the audience to avoid the loss of real learners due to the quality of the program but the inaccurate audience positioning.5.In terms of communication effect according to the audience's feedback survey,the short-term communication effect of "Watch TV and Learn Chinese"has a significant effect on the audience,and it is difficult to rely on TV programs to turn short-term communication into effect precipitation and obtain long-term communication effect.Supporting teaching materials and other methods can be completed.At the same time,the program duration of 25 minutes is also the best choice for learning duration.Therefore,in the production of Chinese TV teaching programs in China,we must consider the long-term learning effect,actively develop supporting teaching materials and supporting supplementary programs related to the program,and adjust the program duration in a timely manner.To providing vivid and interesting high-quality Chinese teaching programs.
