With the rapid development of our economy and the promotion of our country’s political status in the world,China is becoming more and more in the center of the world stage,and more and more people are eager to know that China,the dragon that is waking up.In order to meet the needs of the world’s people to understand China,but also because of the need to spread China’s excellent,long-standing traditional culture to more audiences,teaching Chinese as a foreign language came into being.Culture is a part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it is the connotation behind the language.Language is the key to opening the door of Chinese culture.The key to opening the door is the tool of opening the door.Learning occupies an irreplaceable position.At present,the opening of chinese language teaching as a foreign language is mainly aimed at middle and advanced chinese learners.The primary chinese learners,especially the primary chinese learners in the non-chinese environment,have few cultural courses,and the students participate in some activities of short-term cultural exchange learning,which is not only lack of coherence but also completely disjointed from theory and practice.In order to solve these problems,this paper takes the learners of the primary level of Chinese as the research object,and discusses the feasibility and significance of applying comics to the teaching of Chinese culture as a foreign language.This paper will start from six parts.The first part mainly explains the reason and significance of this topic,research objectives,research contents,research objects and research methods.The reason why the author chooses this research content is that the Chinese level of Chinese learners in the primary stage is insufficient,and the traditional culture teaching method can not overcome this problem,while comics can help learners clear the obstacles of learning Chinese culture through simple Chinese characters or even without the help of text for cultural communication.This paper expounds the relevant theories involved in the teaching of chinese culture as a foreign language,and summarizes the use of comics in language and non-language teaching at home and abroad.It is found that there are more studies on the application of comics in english,spanish,japanese and other languages,and some research results have been obtained.The author discusses the necessity and significance of applying comics to the teaching of chinese culture as a foreign language.From the angle of cartoon itself,students,teachers of chinese as a foreign language,teaching materials,teaching conditions and so on,the author analyzes the advantages of different angles to support the necessity of combining comics and teaching chinese culture as a foreign language.The fourth part,mainly through the questionnaire and tracking form,the student’s attitudes towards Chinese culture and the cognitive levels of before and after the change,assisted in the form of interviews,analysis of the current problems of culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language,understand the student used in cultural teaching Chinese as a foreign language for comics initial attitude and subsequent judgments.According to the results of the survey,some teaching Suggestions are put forward in the aspects of cartoon selection,teaching goal setting,teaching method judgment,teaching content selection and so on.The fifth part focuses on the teaching design of cartoon applied in culture teaching.First,a semester of Thailand’s primary culture class was designed,and then a specific teaching design was carried out for one of the topics,and practical practice was carried out according to the teaching design.The sixth part is the summary and reflection of the whole article,as well as the expectation of applying comics to the in-depth study of Chinese culture teaching as a foreign language.Through the above research,this paper demonstrates the necessity and significance of the use of comics in the teaching of Chinese culture as a foreignlanguage,and according to the investigation,analyzes and summarizes some suggestions that are beneficial to the teaching of comic culture,so that the idea of applying comics to cultural teaching can be further put into practice in the future.This study can enrich the ways and means of teaching Chinese culture as a foreign language,increase the teaching materials of Chinese culture as a foreign language,and provide useful reference for the future development of teaching Chinese culture as a foreign language.
