Based on the present situation of Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute at Vellore University of Science and Technology of India and the training goals of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.This paper applies Communicative Method to this University in order to improve the ability of primary Chinese learners to use Chinese for communication.First of all,the author adopts the questionnaire method and the interview method to explore the feasibility and necessity of using the communicative method from the two aspects of students and teachers respectively.Secondly,using the comparative analysis method to take the final oral results of the experimental class A and the control class B,to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the communication method in the teaching of primary spoken Chinese as a Foreign Language.Of course,the previous literature research also provides a solid theoretical basis for the paper writing.The introduction of this paper mainly explains the reasons,significance,research overview,research methods and research objects.This paper mainly discusses the diachronic process of Communicative Approach from domestic and foreign perspectives,and mainly reveals the development of Communicative Approach in oral Chinese Teaching as a foreign language in China.The theoretical part of Communicative Approach mainly expounds the background of communicative approach,the principles and advantages of Communicative Approach in the teaching of Spoken Chinese as a Foreign Language in China.Then,the author analyzes the current situation of oral Chinese teaching in this college from four aspects: school,curriculum,teaching materials and teachers,in order to explore the feasibility and necessity of Communicative Approach.Through questionnaire survey and interview,the applicability of communicative approach in primary oral Chinese teaching of Confucius institute is discussed from the perspectives of students and teachers.Then,taking the first lesson of lesson 8 "I want tea" in HSK standard course 1 as an example,the author introduces in detail the specific application of Communicative Approach in primary oral Chinese Teaching as a Foreign Language.The key point is to use the comparative analysis method to deeply analyze the final Chinese speaking scores of students in experimental class A and control class B,and demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of communicative approach for improving the oralability of Chinese beginners with objective data.Finally,the author summarizes the shortcomings of communicative approach in classroom teaching,and puts forward six Suggestions for reference.Secondly,to improve the communicative nature of the teaching materials;Third,the establishment of "reward and punishment" system,strengthen the monitoring of classroom activities;Fourth,expand the audio-visual materials for teaching Chinese as a foreign language;Fifthly,the communicative approach is given priority to and other teaching methods are integrated.Sixth,to cultivate professional Chinese as a foreign language teaching quality.It is hoped that the theory of nationality applied in the primary oral teaching of Chinese as a foreign language can be improved and the communicative competence of the second language learners can be improved more effectively. |
